Bushehr Approach to Radionuclide Therapy
Bushehr Theranostic Center has been treating its work in advanced radionuclide therapy since 2016 as a leading center in this region. The Bushehr approach perceives the cancer as a chronic disease to be treated over time. These teams have published the findings of this approach in different related journals.

To obtain the management of patients under one roof, the team entails: the Department of Molecular Imaging and Molecular Radiotherapy Center (Theranostic Center), the Department of Oncology , the Department of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Endocrinology, the Department of General Surgery, the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, the Department of Urology, the Department of Cardiology, the Department of Pathology and also the Center for Interdisciplinary Pain Management and Palliative Medicine. All fields work together as a group on tumors.
The multidisciplinary teamwork purposes to get ready patients with tumors the most tailored diagnosis and therapy.
Particular highlighting is placed on weekly tumor boards due to complexity of presented tumors and also interdisciplinary challenges.
